How it works

What is a VRF system?

VRF stands for variable refrigerant flow. A VRF system is a central air conditioning system where one outdoor plant serves many indoor units, and the plant sends each room only as much refrigerant as it needs. That is why every room can run at its own temperature, and why a VRF AC system can cost less to run than many separate units in a large building.

    One compact plant on the roof replaces dozens of separate condensers. Inverter compressors speed up or slow down to match the load.

    A single pair of copper refrigerant lines runs through the building, branching to each floor through refnets and branch selectors.

  3. 03

    Cassette, ducted or wall units in each room. Every unit has its own thermostat, so each space is set independently.

  4. 04

    Monitor and schedule every room from one controller or your phone, and switch off empty floors to save energy.

VRF vs VRV: what's the difference?

VRV is Daikin's own name for its VRF systems. The technology is the same: variable refrigerant flow from one outdoor plant to many indoor units. A Daikin VRV system and a Midea or Gree VRF system do the same job.

There is no fixed VRF AC price in Pakistan, because every building needs a different system. Like any central AC system, the price depends on:
